A contrast-enhanced CT of the dorsolumbar spine is used to visualize the lower thoracic and upper lumbar region of the spine. Your doctor may recommend this test to find disorders including a herniated disk, detect injuries or infections to the spine, osteoarthritis, and pinched nerves. The CE CT of the dorso-lumbar spine is also advised when there is back pain followed by fever, weakness and numbness in the legs.
Male: Recent Creatinine blood test reports (not older than 15 days) required. At least 4 hours fasting required. One attendant mandatory for this test.. Female: Recent Creatinine blood test reports (not older than 15 days) required. At least 4 hours fasting required. For Female patients of reproductive age, LMP is required to avoid any testing if pregnant, else Negative Urine Pregnancy Test report is needed. One attendant mandatory for this test.
