It is an imaging technique that helps evaluate the blood vessels of the kidneys in case of an injury. The scan is used to find out ballooning of an artery (aneurysm), narrowing of an artery (stenosis), and blood flow in the kidneys. It is also helpful in determining the presence of hemorrhage or internal bleeding.
Male: Recent Creatinine blood test reports (not older than 15 days) required. At least 4 hours fasting required. One attendant mandatory for this test.. Female: Recent Creatinine blood test reports (not older than 15 days) required. At least 4 hours fasting required. For Female patients of reproductive age, LMP is required to avoid any testing if pregnant, else Negative Urine Pregnancy Test report is needed. One attendant mandatory for this test.
