The main goal of this imaging modality is to create cross-sectional images of the bones and soft tissues including organs, muscles, and blood vessels, in the left arm. The scan helps diagnose the cause of pain or other problems in the shoulder, wrist or elbow joints, a broken bone, masses and tumours, including cancer. It is also useful in guiding a surgeon to the right area during a biopsy. The scan helps in the preparation of planning certain types of therapy and surgery and to find out how a patient’s body is responding to treatment.
Male: No Special Preparation. Informed Consent Required.. Female: For Female patiens in reproductive age group, LMP is required. Otherwise, Urine Pregnancy Test is needed.
