It is a non-invasive imaging technique that uses a strong magnetic field, radio waves, and a computer to create 2-D or 3-D images of the blood vessels in the upper limb. Your doctor may advise this test to look at the aneurysm (ballooning of a blood vessel), stenosis (narrowing of a blood vessel), vasospasm (spasm of a blood vessel), blood clots, blockage, tumours, bleeding and detect any abnormal blood vessels. It is also helpful to plan and check the efficacy of treatments for blockages including stents and grafts. A contrast agent is used to better visualize the vessels.
Male: Creatinine blood test reports required (not older than 15 days) One attendant mandatory for this test.. Female: Creatinine blood test reports required (not older than 15 days). For Female patients LMP Date and/or Latest Pregnancy Test Report is needed. One attendant mandatory for this test.
