It is a non-invasive imaging technique that uses a strong magnetic field, radio waves and a computer to assess cerebral spinal fluid (CSF) around the brain, brainstem or spinal cord. It uses a contrast medium for better visualization of CSF flow. The test helps diagnose different neurological diseases that are causing CSF flow abnormality.
